Idle Loom
Privacy Policy — Idle Loom
Effective 5 August 2026
Idle Loom is made by MaiStudio ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the app does — and mostly does not do — with information about you. It covers the Idle Loom mobile app and this website.
The short version: the app has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics and no advertising. Your game save never leaves your device. The only information that goes anywhere is what is needed to make in-app purchases work.
Your game save: every part of your progress — capital, fabric, looms, stars, and the designs you draw — is stored locally on your device. We cannot see it, we do not transmit it, and we do not back it up. Deleting the app deletes the save permanently, and we cannot restore it for you.
In-app purchases: payments are processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) under their own terms and privacy policies. We never see your card details, billing address or store account. To recognise what you have bought and to restore purchases after a reinstall or on a second device, the app uses RevenueCat, a purchase-infrastructure provider. RevenueCat receives your purchase receipt and an anonymous, app-generated identifier. It does not receive your name, email address, contacts, or location. This is why the app's App Store privacy label reads "Data Not Linked to You: Purchases". You can read RevenueCat's policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.
No tracking, no selling: we do not track you across apps or websites, we do not use advertising identifiers, and we do not sell or share your information with anyone for advertising or any other purpose.
This website: the pages you are reading are static and carry no analytics, no advertising and no cookies. Our hosting provider may keep short-lived server logs, including IP addresses, for security and reliability — standard practice for any website, and not used to identify you.
Children: Idle Loom is suitable for all ages and asks nobody for personal information. The only data leaving the device is anonymous purchase data, which is not linked to a person's identity. Purchases on children's devices are governed by the parental controls in the App Store and Google Play.
Your choices: because there is no account, there is nothing for us to delete on request — removing the app removes your data. If you would like the anonymous purchase record associated with your device deleted from RevenueCat, email us and we will arrange it. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google, not by us; see the Terms of Use.
Changes: if the app ever begins collecting anything further — opt-in analytics, for example — we will update this policy before that change ships, revise the App Store privacy label to match, and note it in the app's release notes.
